    Hello everyone,

I'm just curious what is your, guys and girls, software sampler choice.

I'm using Live/(simpler) (sampler) and Kontakt. On market there is a lot of samplers. I prefear Live instruments but there is a one catch with all Live stuff ... I will loose my eyes :) one day... and instruments are not really intuitive like other on the market... Kontakt is great but I personaly I don't like as well, it's sometimes very confusing when you want to modulate something etc... etc... controls floating in that small window up and down like yo-yo :)

kontakt is the way to go, go to youtube and learn it if its too complicated. while i will be the first to agree that its not the best, it seems to be the industry standard and everybody makes libraries for it. got to go with the majority even though its not user friendly

I use kontakt since version 2, and know all the functions, and I say "it's complicated", it will be great to re-design GUI (other NI stuff has great functionality over GUI design)

I hate way of modulating and showing of chains (up/down) and If you want to design preset with lot of samples and lot of modulating it's really messed up.

But I love filters, fx and script functions... and It's great ofcourse.

As I see on youtube, Independence / Engine 2 has great GUI, but I never using it so I can't tell the whole impression.

All I use is ShortCircuit v1 and ReaSamplomatic. ReaSamplomatic is smashing for drums, pun intended. :) ...especially with this new velocity layers update. You just can't beat the simplicity and straightforwardness of both. I simply hate Kontakt, but when it comes to sample libraries there's no escape from it. I consider it an ultimate sample player, a ROMpler. :) Kontakt's problem is that it's not fun, at least for me. TX16Wx is far more fun, too. ;) However, TX16Wx is still kinda buggy so I stick to ShortCircuit for when I don't want to be a beta tester. :)

    Cheeers!

    Have a look at CWITec - TX16Wx.
    It's free!

Updates are released often and there's an active forum at KVR.
There's a Pro version as well.
