No I've used it myself from time to time though not a big fan of the uninspiring interface. The functionality however is fully intact. *yes*

Thanks man. I completely agree. That's one of the things I really enjoyed about Tremor because you can make some really interesting sounds and create polyrhythms with ease. It really lends itself to experimentation and you can get some very cool results. It takes a little time to really learn inside out though because there's a lot of functionality on offer and it's easy to get lost. Microtonic is my go-to for workflow because I can get in the ballpark much faster and easier than on some other synths. Attack is good too in that department.

Thanks a lot. I always feel like there's so much more I could know because I study a lot of disparate subjects beyond just audio and music theory and my brain is often overloaded. So much to learn and so little time. :mates:

Also Geist 2 is great if we're talking samplers because it's not a synth though I've always secretly wanted a new version that would incorporate the best of both worlds. :break:

Setting up a computer for audio can be quite a job (Win), installing an iLok driver on my smooth running sys ... however, I gave it a go on my craptop, that`s what it is for ...
20 days full featured demo is a good reason to, because I like drum synths a lot.
I find Softube plugs are great, some of them maybe even sort of `top of the line` (would love to have a few as `go to`s).
The build-in effects appear to be the best part of Heartbeat, easily you`ll get out a pristine sound quality. That`s way my disappointment about the sculpting features, especially the cymbal is even bigger.
Neither you`ll find toms, which is, for a drum synth, seriously annoying. To be honest I haven`t tried for more then an hour, yet, surely some tom like sounds can be squeezed out.
The BD and Kick Drum channels (nice separation) will deliver instants results or let`s say the Saturation is `saving the day`, anyway.
I`m going to give it some more go`s, but I think it`s overpriced and not fully `ripe`, Softube is capable of more ...
Microtonic for 99$ (not to mention the Patternarium) and Tremor are a different league (and very performance ready, wouldn`t be much more effort to make a build-in sequencer in Hearbeat, would it?).
    Just an impression.
