Softube plugins in Reaper problem

    Has anyone encountered a problem using softube plugins in reaper daw, specifically about sidechaning? here is the text from reaper forum:

    "First off, they seem to have a long-standing issue with VST3 in Reaper. The i/o configuration is always defaults to 2 in, 1 out, and cannot be configured past 3 in, 2 out (so, mono sidechain). Vst2 is fine at 4 in 4 out at default."
