hi
i installed this package and wanted to try it on ableton 9.7.1 but ableton crash all the time when loading the the vsts.
on bitwig 1.3,6 no problem
any idea how to make it works on ableton 9.7.1?

 

windows 7 and 8 work fine

windows 10 Not recommended

 

Any reason for why apart from "windows 10 suxxxxx win7 masterrace all the way, but xp was the best"? Softube working fine here on latest Windows 10 Insider Preview - version 1607 (OS build 14986.1001). Also works great as AAX in Pro Tools using the alternative wrapper posted somewhere around this forum.

 

i changed the compability for win 7 and admin and still crash.

 

I do not know the reason
But most of these plugins in VST2 format
Only works on windows 7 and 8
Change compatibility , it does not solve
Only changing windows

Win 10 doesn't play nice with ilok in my opinion.

 

How's that? I haven't noticed anything. Just the standard, exaggerated startup times that I get with all ilok plugs on all OS's

 

Hey Guys.
Running Live 9 Under Compatibility Mode , Slows Down The Whole Process .
I Tried To Using Vst3 With BluePatchWorks , But Live 9 Takes An Age To Load Plugins.
Win 10 Is Really Disappointing.
Just Planned To Switch Back To Win8 But Since I Changed My Screen Monitors With Touch Ones , It Is Another Problem.

 

Not for me. And I timed that sh!t.

 

I've Got A Nice Ssd , Everything Works Fast But Compatibility Ruin The Whole Things Here.

 

Good to know as I don't use VST3 at all with Patchwork/Live.

 

yes pinkman , its working now on win 8 compability with admin .
but i can say just for me . maybe i installed prog that make it crashes , because other pepole here an make it works under win 10.

Same problem here but, after your recommendation, Ableton Live works fine with all Softube plugins now

I only use VST2 and AAX. Never had any issues on Windows 10, no compatibility needed, even though most of my plugins use iLok.

 

You using FL? If so you won't see an issue. For me Studio One, win 10 and ilok even with workaround wasn't good. It's ok My production rig is win 7 anyway.

 

Oh alright... sorry, you mean specifically the ilok cracks. I was thinking ilok in general. Yeah those weren't terrific for me on Win 10, specifically in Studio One. A bit better in Live.
