    Hello friends!
I made a simplified switching of strips by replacing files that are connected by default.
Here is the link to the archive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uPSxWN20iindBa7dMF77RRtrnKuo5UDx?usp=sharing
This archive must be unzipped in "%APPDATA%\Roaming\Softube\Console 1\Presets\" should result in this path:
    "%APPDATA%\Roaming\Softube\Console 1\Presets\Channel Strip\" .
There, select Strip and run the "activate.cmd" file as an Administrator and that's it.
It is important to disable (unload) the "Console 1" plugin in the DAW before running "activate.cmd", otherwise the replacement will not work. Unfortunately, you can only connect one Channel Strip in a session.
    Good luck! :)

:excl: I apologize. This method is incomplete. I'll fix it soon and throw off the working method.

you can try this, insert vst2 when the OSD appears, just cancel it..

or try to put 1 vst3 version on one track and put the vst2 version on the next track, try insert name and okay or cancel. see if it still disappear or not. if it not, just remove the vst2 version and replace with vst3 version for auto track name.

there is a trick to switch the channel in OSD.. just insert new console1 plugin on any track you want the OSD to focus. Once it switches and focuses on that track, you can remove the plugin.

This appears and as soon as I press ok or cancel it disappears again. I tried using vst3 but in vst3 version this window won't appear at all.

Strange enough, there is a separate plugin for American Class A only not for the others.

The vst3 does auto track naming in some DAWs so that's why it doesn't work. Only the vst2 version will bring up the OSD when naming the track. You can also move the rename track window out the way to see what effects the knobs have made.

I used Studio One, it does indeed disappear if you click OK or Cancel.

It's not a problem. That's how the vst3 version works. Use the vst2 version if you want to rename a track or see the OSD.

Because start from American Class A, Softube start to built a native version of the C1 extension (vice versa).

Only SSL4000E, XL9000K and British Class A don't have the native plugin counterparts. It is truly Console 1 exclusive.

The Chandler Limited, Summit Audio, and Weiss have it own VST version of the plugin. The C1 version of it just a kinda like a stripped-down version. The individual plugin has more features and parameters.

Other Softube plugin, some of it also a Console1 Ready, means you can load it on C1 as an individual part module, like Shaper, EQ and Compressor.

Does cherry's method work for anyone ?
Running the cmnds doesnt change it for me. Pasting the defaults works though.

I think the disappearing happens probably the OSD is somehow set to auto display. It is part of Console1 features, but I could be wrong. Hope someone can come up with a solution.

What if you insert VST3, and then on the same track, insert VST2.. see if it works or not. Or try to reset the OSD, right-click on it at the taskbar and reset... or quit it and re-run it.

I managed to leave OSD Window, when I deleted the Console 1 plugin when requesting the track name, the window remained. Then I started Console 1 vst3 and everything worked.

there tons of libraries (MCU, Steinberg CC121 & etc.) I guess maybe same exist for Softube

Maybe you have the Console 1 plugin running in the DAW? Remove all Console from the Project and try again. Or there are no rights to overwrite files. All files are copied to: c:\Program Files\Common Files\Softube\SSX\

This works for me too on Studio One. I can change Jeffriezal's presets and the OSD updates to show the changes too
