Softube Console 1 On Screen Display Not working

    Anyone know how to get AudioUtopias release of console 1's On screen display application to work?

    Im running Windows 7 64 bit, and last year it worked on my machine just fine, but one day minimized it (or something) and I was never able to open the OSD window again.

    The console 1 vst2/vst3 plugins work fine, and when I click on the on screen display.exe, the plugin seems to think its connected, but there is no display. Under the task manager, the process for the OSD is there, but under applications tab, there is nothing.

    Attempting to"reset the OSD window" from the icon does nothing as well.

    Ive tried uninstalling, reinstalling, etc... but no dice. Is there a windows service that OSD is dependent on or something that I might have incidentally disabled?

    do you use more than 1 monitor or have you changed your screen resolution at some point?
    if so, could the console display be opening in a non existent (non visible) screen area?
    This can happen with other applications.
    for example the cubase big transport control and/or a plugin gui can go awol when a project is opened that was saved on another pc with a different screen setup or resolution.

    Thanks man, but yeah I've tried single monitor, dual monitor, different connectors (vga, hdmi) different resolutions. Still no window.

    Bro, I read the manual. No information seems to be relevant to my problem.

    I know I can't be the only one who's had this issue

    None of the softube plugins are working on windows 10 64bit. I tried all of them in S1 and it scanned them properly but while loading the plugins, S1 crashes !! PLEASE HELP !

    Open Studio One in windows 8 compatability mode. Should solve your problem.



    Now back to my problem:

    Has anyone else had a problem with Console 1's display not showing???

    Thank YOU !! IT WORKED LIKE MAGIC ! I got the same problem with Console 1. The plugin is opening but the GUI is very very small. Not like what they show in their commercials. I cannot make out anything !!

    You're welcome. I also figured out the issue with the "On Screen Display" not showing:

    1. In order to get the On Screen Display showing, you must first run the "On Screen Display.exe" (obviously)

    2. in your DAW Insert an instance of the VST2 VERSION of Console 1 on to a track, and within the VST click on "(click to enter track name)" and then the On Screen Display will appear. (NOT SO OBVIOUS).

    After that you can proceed to use the vst3 version if you wish.
