Is there any sofrware for balancing audio files?
There are more 200 wave files to adjust.
I tried nomorlizing each file, but the consequences are not good.
Or maybe there is a better way to do this?

Batch Normalize them, but use RMS normalize instead of peak. Sound Forge.

This one is the only existing software that does that and in a batch process.
No simple normalizing..., but real analyzing and processing.

You choose and set a loudness standard you want, start batch and it does the job.

I used it for my new sound library that is coming out soon.

It is very expensive, but really worth it !

I looked around and there is no other software that does this.

You can also use Presonus StudioOne's project section.
It analyzes all audio and tells you the LUFS of all analyzed audio,
but you have to go to each track and manually adjust the loudness.
Then you can safe them all at once.

Maybe the cheaper way to go if you don't need to do this very often.

Simple normalizing isn't proper if you want it at standard loudness!

    ITU-R BS. 1770/1 and 1770-2 compliant
    EBU R128 compliant
    ATSC A/85 compliant

WaveGain: http://members.home.nl/w.speek/wavegain.htm or for an updated version: http://www.rarewares.org/others.php#wavegain It's like ReplayGain for WAV files. There's also MP3Gain for MP3 files. With Foobar2000 audio player you can apply ReplayGain to any files, like FLAC and AAC, too.

    Cheers!
