In Obama's defense, He is not a dictator or king that has total control of his country and people. The good things that he is trying to do are scrutinized and modified by congress, some of which oppose all of his plans regardless of whether they are good or not. Some congressmen don't even look at them. By the time they do approve anything it has been so watered down and reinvented it barely resembles the original plan. But, it is that or nothing.

Where were we 4 years ago? Crapping our pants! Remember! Banks, and saving & loans failing , many people loosing their homes, Auto companies going bankrupt, losing jobs at a tremendous rate, It looked like we were going to hit rock bottom and almost did.

After all he has accomplished while acting as president, many people think he is not capable of running the country because of the color of his skin. SHAME on them!

Look at the republican offerings for a new president. Listen to their idiotic debates, do we really have any other choice?

I think we should compare IQ scores for the winner. Wouldn't it be great to simply put the smartest man in america in the white house. He's probably too intelligent to take the job though. LOL

Now you mention Ron Paul ... I've listen to him (mostly through youtube videos) and everything he says makes sense.
But i'm not a north-american citizen, so if you are, could you (or anybody else here) please bring your two cents about
him (does people trust him in the sense that he would do what he talks about if he were president of the United States ?
... Or on the contrary people needs to believe in someone like him (or to know that there's someone like him but
eventually they will vote someone else? - my apologizes for my north-american politics ignorance).

Much thanks for all this info! There are plenty of things on them to think about and try to understand a little bit what's happening all around the world this days.
To me the present situation needs a clear mind (in all of us and not only a few), otherwise this world(we) is(are) lost (as usual).

EDIT: I don't know why but some tears came out of my eyes listening to George Galloway ...
----- Hope there's no attack and that if there's one that He can be wrong with his predictions (although i deeply feel he's not).

P.S.: Perhaps there are too many people in this world already, hence the need for another wwar.
