yes I know that, its rather obviously a copy, but the Platform is not the peak of design or effieciency, all engineering is a compromise of design considerations, materials, and cost.
Platform is designed to be easily reproducable using cnc plywood to make a VolksDesk at a a certain price.

If you want to design a desk for yourself why settle for a copy of desk made to be cheaply reproducible and shipped en masse? literally the Ikea flatpack of audio studios.

That is why I provided links to alternative designs that might serve you needs better and don't need to be mass produced as cheaply as possible.
