I'm a VERY long time FL Studio user since Fruity Lopps 3 and am incredibly comfortable in it. I know my way around a few other DAW's but I always come back to FL. With FL I can practically do most tasks in my sleep. Although, I was really looking forward to the update to 12 and am for the most part satisfied with the new update and look. I really resent the fact that before it used to give you the option when right-clicking to open up a loop if you wanted to use Slicer or Slicex but now the default slicing mechanism is Slicex. Is there anyway to change that back or will I be forced to learn and use Slicex?

If it is the latter and HAVE TO use Slicex though is there a way to make it so that it automatically chops everything instead of having to click the slice button everytime? Also is there an easy way to half-time or double time loops? I know how to do it by typing in 1/2 or 2x the BPM or the number of bars in the loop but in Slicer it was so much easier!

BAH HUMBUG! I'M OLD AND I RESENT CHANGE!

The Fruity Slicer is still there with a bit refreshed UI, ready to be used.

Edit: Also, for auto-slicing, Alt+S, or if you need more fine tuning, [IMG]

I agree, I use alt-s and delete the markers that are not needed

@Qrchack. I know Slicer is still there since all my projects from 11 still run with slicer on loops. Just trying to clarify that there's currently no option that makes it possible to be able to select Fruity Slicer from the right-click drop down menu?

What right-click dropdown you mean? I don't really use slicing at all
