    @DanielFaraday
    I wish. Never enough actually. And Im faster than a ferrari when it comes to computers. I have 3 semi-successful incorporated business that I run from home. Right from my desk. Only time I have to put on shoes is when I meet with clients or work on site. Too bad music isn't one of them :dunno: No hard feelings man. Lighten up and laugh a little is all. When I stop smiling it means they won. Cheers man, I toast to you. :cheers:

    First, they would run using a different amount of resources and that can be an issue. Second calculating is a simple and discrete logical operation, modeling analog gear is not. It's radically different. It's an approximation of a continuous physical process. You can go into detail on your own, man. I doubt anybody would like to read it, and i'm too lazy to type all that crap just to prove you wrong.

    Think of it as this way: There's a ton of ways to draw a calculator onto a piece of paper, you can do it with a pencil you can do it with a wall brush or you can take a picture of it and print it. You still are doing it with your "hands" (the programming languages in your metaphor) but the results are different, and none would look 100% like the real calculator btw.

    Wow! Seems like you are very busy, but what is your income and what I need to do to make a lot of money?

    You put it on your garden and charge for entrance.
    You might get more success if you also get a black van and a bag of candies.

    Haha, slate up to his trickery again, lol.

    @ia I used to be too busy when I was real hungry, but thats the beauty of being your own boss. Now I am at the point where I can pick and choose my clients and refer the rest. On my websites I refer to myself as Us and We, and the voicemails have prompts (like press 1 to talk to the installation dept) To the customers, you would think Im a big company. It is all a facade I know but it works very well. You'll need some liability insurance and certifications too, like Low Voltage (Specialist), Comp TIA A+, and CNA are the ones I have. I signed on with a couple of companies (Service Live and Installs Inc) that subcontract from BestBuy, office depot and staples, and get steady work from them as well, I sign on to an online interface and can choose the jobs for the next day that I want to accept. Its the overflow from their in-house installation departments. Ive been thinking about paying the 300 bucks to get on Angie's list too. But I have enough work right now. Its all on how you present yourself. I am always professional with my work. I have embroidered polo shirts for each company with matching hats and laminated name tags. I have changed up companies at gas stations before on my way to the next job on my route. Different magnets for my van doors etc. Im not rich by any means. Im a one man team, with a couple of laborers/helpers on call. But I eat and drink well.

    @Von_Steyr Speaking of black vans, I was thinking more like this

    You are so right. I spent too much time making other people money. Bestbuy charges the customer 400+ for a premium on wall TV install and home theater setup (wires in wall, relocate the power etc). Takes a little over an hour usually (if you know what youre doing) and they pay the geek squad 12 an hour. As a sub they pay me 200. They take half right off the top. I charge customers 350 when representing my own business and give them free hdmi cables :like:. Plus Im always on call and will go on holidays and late night.
