SIP off on Mojave

    if I disable SIP on mojave (10.14.6), will the system work normally or it is not recommend?

    As long as you know why you're turning it off, you should have no problem.
    First thing I did when I upgraded to High Sierra...

    Are you using DOSDUDE1 patch on an unsupported Mac?

    I am, so i'm also having SIP disabled (with that installation method, you can't have it enabled, the patcher installs an extension for that).
    But interestingly enough if you re-enable SIP running the "$ csrutil enable" command the usual way, from the Terminal from a bootable usb or a functioning Recovery HD partition, and you check "$ csrutil status" inside another Os it result enabled.

    My situation in 2 different bootable partitions:
    Boot in El Capitan > Terminal "$ csrutil status" = System Integrity Protection status: enabled.
    Boot in Mojave > Terminal "$ csrutil status" = System Integrity Protection status: disabled (only at OS level, i think)
