Im on the most recent kontakt version (5.8.1), and actually most of my libraries work.

But on some (CSSS, Evolution Rock Standard and Evolution Songwriter) a Window pops up "this instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed".

When i add the library on my 5.6 kontakt it doesnt add it to the library tab. I fixed this issue with changing its SNPID to a random number, however the library then became "corrupt".

Please help me, i cant live without CSSS

 

"random number"? NO!
Does this library have an .nicnt file? You should use the SNPID number that appears in that file. If there isn't any, you need to create an .nicnt file for the library. Or more preciously you don't need to, just go to Search gap on the top on sistersite and put the name of this library. I did it and the first result was exactly a FIXED nicnt file. I just can't share the link here.

 

I just checked Evolution songwriter and, like @jazzzz well said, it comes with the nicnt file.

 

solution to not loading / adding to the lib on mac:
1. go to Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service center/
2. find the Chris Hein - Ensemble Strings.xml
3. open it with text editor
4. find the following line " <SNPID>000</SNPID> "
5. replace the "000" with " K03" (could also be P98, check the NICNT)
6. save it

 

also, i know the the service center folder sometimes show to be write protected, so it registers temporarily with the 5.6 and unregisters as soon you try to use it. can be worth checking that out too
