I just came across an interesting tutorial that presents 5 useful suggestions on how to simplify sounds in Omnisphere when they seem too fat to fit in a mix. Some of these suggestions may also help maintaining phase correlation after a mono collapse. See:

Have you guys similar suggestions to offer to simplify Kontakt instruments sounds? I've noticed that many Kontakt instruments sound too massive and big to be mixed easily with other instruments... Even used by themselves, they also show obvious phase correlation problems which appear clearly on a correlation meter like bx_meter. Simplifying Kontakt sounds would in this case solve both mixing and phase cancellation issues:)

With a little help from my friends... I'm ready to dive into this exciting subject :winker:

I don't know much about this but seems interesting. I only know the typical case when I quad-track a Kontakt electric guitar and there are these phase issues, but that is an edge case.
Would it help to first disable the effects?

Yes, disabling some effects helps. Thank you Xupito.
I'm curious to know what are my other options inside Kontakt engine, and how to tweak them.
