I'm using a hackintosh. I've installed Sonnox Oxford and also replaced "libstdc++.6.0.9.dylib" in "/usr/lib". My hackintosh is now running just fine with openshh's dylib file, but I want to roll back to the original one that comes with Mac OS Sierra 10.12.2. I forgot to backup it up before replacing, so now I've lost it. If you're using Mac OS Sierra 10.12.2, please send me the original "libstdc++.6.0.9.dylib" if you can.

WHY? If everything is running smooth and just fine, do you want to roll back. Don't you realize that the beautiful Sonnox plugs will cease working. Come to your senses man

You can grab the original libstdc++.6.0.9.dylib file from the Sierra 10.2.2 installer using Pacifist.

Just to confirm, I'm also using Sierra 10.2.2 with OpenSSH's - libstdc++.6.0.9.dylib file.. Works perfect !

 

The Sierra beta chain overwrites it every time. I fix that and keep going each time. No ill effects that I can see now that they have updated Adobe Audition which used to crash with the k'ed dylib.

 

Everything is much simpler in MacWorld, of course. :D

 

I think it will be OK. It's just a system file from Apple and I think all those files are the same on every system.

Yes, it's perfect (so far as I remember). But I just want to keep my hackintosh as "clean" as possible, so I've rolled it back. It's just for the sake of liking.
