    Hello guys

I encountered a problem after a long time I installed and ran this plugin again but the WIDEN section in FL is not working properly, in fact it is not working at all and in the help bar it says Widen is disabled
That knob doesn't even exist in the GUI.
But this plugin opens fine in Ableton Work Well In Ableton.jpg
Even in the Doctor plugin the widen section does not work properly like in FL

I used this version :Sick Individuals - Focus One v1.0.2 Win 64 bit Vst2/Vst3 Patch & Serial
That our dear friend, Oly, had cracked
How can I fix this problem? Has anyone encountered this problem before and how did they fix it?

Do you actually *need* this specific plugin? It was released about 6 years ago, there are many other options to do the same processing, and a few reviews I just read about it are not exactly positive ones. One suggested alternative was Sample Magic Boost, which then became Ursa Boost; if I am not mistaken. Stereo Imaging plugins are a dime a dozen for widening, like (free) Polyverse Wider2, Dj Swivel Spread, Waves S1 Stereo Imager, etc. You could try loading it into BlueCat's Patchwork inside the host you are having the problem in, but I would not be an optimist about your rather specific problem.

It doesn't matter much, more because with a plugin you can make several adjustments to the signal.
The focus part is the same as the OTT, the boost part raises the mid frequencies by a few decibels, and...
Most of all, those few settings on a plugin are important because you can make a so-called fat sound.

By "need", I mean when you have a plugin in some old session that you want to reopen. Replacing the plugin will cause you to lose your original settings and change the project. The Mac I use for my DAW computer is 15 years old, so I like finding old obscure, and forgotten plugins that I can still use. They are great if you like to make lo-fi music, instead of slapping RC-20 on tracks like everyone else does.

But even so, at some point; the effort involved getting something specific to work outweighs the result. I think you may have arrived at that point with this one. Sometimes a wave editor app like Wavelab, Soundforge, Audacity, etc. can be really helpful for things like this too. Most of the time these plugins aren't ones you are going to do a lot of automation with in your project. So you just shoot the file from your DAW to your External Wave Editor application, do your processing with the plugin offline and destructive, and then bring the file right back into the DAW. Most DAWs even have a way you can setup an external editor to do it with, and that gives you a path to send the file back and forth inside the two applications without the hassle of bouncing, exporting, reimporting, and all that nonsense. :)
