Sia - Chandelier

    I Like the drums of Sia - Chandelier. It Sounds so nice and simple. Wondering if they recorded live drums or used samples? if so (samples), Does anyone knows where i can get it? Also, can anyone guide me how pop music works? What kind of High quality Synthesizers they use or fully analog? Anything that can help me to learn pop music would be good.

    99.999999% sure it's samples, they sound too snappy and without ambience to be real IMO, not anything too complicated, tough... Try to experiment with reverb and comp to get a similar feel :wink:

    Synthesized kick and acoustic snare (with some ambience mics). Go!

    How to make pop? Write lots of "simple" pop tunes. :)
