Hello, everyone! First of all, forgive me for my bad English.

I have had the beyerdynamic DT880 for 2 years now using them for 8 hours a day MINIMUM, and so I rule out the 1990's option, the pads have to be removed every month to wash them or they sink and lose comfort and when you change them you hurt your fingers by having wounds on your fingers for 2 or 3 days. I have no complaints about them as they sound but I think they should be changed to a lighter design. The producers we produce on the road need comfort and reduced fatigue, it's our BIGGEST ENEMY.

I have thought about buying the Sennheiser 660s but I have seen on some forums that the Shure are the most comfortable and sound a little better in general.

    Has anyone tried them?

    Many greetings to the forum

    Welcome here @jayj4y

Looks like most ppl recomment the Shure solution if you read reviews.

I can only say, as a DT880 owner, these cans are the worst without calibration. Highs from 4Khz are boosted at least 6db, bass from 100hz is rolled off. Try calibrating them with the Sonarworks DT880 profile, you'll realise what you've been missing out on. Though calibrated, I love them.

But if you're into this kind of awkward skewed sound, my advice: stay with Beyerdynamic. The Sennheiser will be way too neutral (read: boring) sounding to you.

Honestly, nothing beats the Sennheiser 660, or the 580 IMO.
