I was 13 when I made this on my casio CTK-411 keyboard that my mom bought for the house when I was in preschool. I pulled it out if the closet & dusted it off before making this song. I recorded it with a skype headset mic I bought from radioshack, hooked up to audacity.

Is that a real guitar or is it midi? Sounds really good. Well done!

Not the absolute earliest stuff I've ever made (I dont think I even have that stuff anymore) but seeing as this was made over 13 years ago, it should qualify as pretty old:

You know whats really crazy, a lot of this stuff sounds so much more interesting to listen to than 90% of the music I hear being put out today. Even if its rough around the edges, you can hear that it has some heart and soul to it.

This is the earliest I have online. I have stuff from earlier, but I'd have to dig it out and up it somewhere.

My earliest material involving audio. I guess I used Sony Acid Pro 6 Loops and I played the bass. Happily recorded in my bedroom using Sonar 5 and an M-Audio interface. Previous work was midi only. My previous computer at that time could not handle audio without choking to death.

I was about 2 years in, but still totally stupid when it came to production. Especially mastering and mixing...had no clue!

all downtempo stuff shown here is awesome. it is also very interesting when it's from 2000 or so.. you can feel the thin sound.

OK, I dug into my really old stuff and found one of my gems. I decided to do a remaster of it. I didn't have it in parts unfortunately, so I couldn't do a perfect job on the mixing and mastering, but regardless, I still think it sound good. You will hear a little bit of my scratching skills in this one!
