I'm very much intrigued by anything Oeksound/UVI but I'm not ready to use iLok yet.
Glad to see there are a few ones I don't know about at all so I can try new things.

    1. Slate FG-X - I use it as a limiter all the time. It's my go-to limiter for tracks that start to build up a lot of energy. It's very transparent, super old, and reliable. Besides, it takes very little CPU power.
    2. STL Tones Control Hub - This is the channel strip I use the most. It's great for coloring tracks without much hassle. I'm a lazy ass, so I tend to go to plugins that I slap in and forget with the fewest possible tweaks. This fits my bill.
    3. Sonible Smart:Limit - That's the plugin I always use to beef up the volume on the final bus. Sometimes it is the final plugin on a master.
    4. Supertone Clear - It's an amazing plugin to clear spoken word or de-reverb a vocal.
    5. Accusonus Voice Leveler - Discontinued and now abandonware. It' does what it says with musicality.
    6. Nuro Audio Xvox - My Swiss-army vocal chain. I sometimes just use it for the reverb or delay, but sometimes you just use it for that modern, radio-friendly vibe.
    7. Plugin Allliance Lindell 902 - Easy to use, quasi-intelligent de-esser. It does the job.
    8. UAD Distressor - I've never used a physical unit, but I've tried every distressor clone that I could, and without a doubt this is the best one for my ears.
    9. Softube Drawmer S73 - Itr's supposed to be a mastering compressor, but I love it for individual instruments. It has lots of character.
    10. BSA Silencer - The best drum gate, period.

@muse2love Curious about Relab Songsig ACE, someone mentioned Rev-A in another thread as their desert island reverb, quality and controls looks on point and GUI is clean.

I do trance, drone, ambient and experimental music.

Sylenth1 - This has been with me since october 2008 and i have done lots of presets with it and it can just do simple trance synth stuff so fast.
Massive - It behaves like a Virus in some ways and its just stupid easy to program, has the advantage of being way more CPU friendly in Draft mode than Massive X. Also used it so much, that i know my way around it.
Arts Acoustic Reverb - I have not found a replacement for this one, its been with me since atleast 2009 and i know it quite well.
Wave Arts Masterverb - Its jsut great for Gated 90s/00s trance reverbs. Never found a replacement for it.
MDE-X - i really like the detuning it adds, it can make a single saw wave wide. Its simply and better than using unison in a plugin.
Osirus - Always wanted a Virus
OsTIrus - Always wanted a Virus
Vavra - Its just amazing for textures, much easier than the Virus in this regard
Omnisphere - Easy and fast to go instruments: Pianos, Choirs and the Atmosphere Library it just so good without even tweaking much.
N4 - I am using the Factory ROMs only, the Pads are so simply to throw at the project without tweaking and here it made sense to upgrade.

went back to SC via Ableton compressor and for the most part i simply use Ableton great stock plugins.

    Honorable mentions:
Dune 1 - Easy Virus like Design combined with super light DSP, since its very old
Zebra 2 - Urs went crazy on opimization and the Adam Szabo Set its just wonderful for it.
Hive 1 - bought it long time ago and i can do good sounds
XV5080 - those are simply the best 90s sounds in a plugin
Reason 12 Plugin with Subtractor - its sound so thin, so 90s add the detune device on top and its perfect for sharp sound, which are thin on the other side.
Malström - i do like it produces no perfect sounds, you have this aliasing, which very old synths have to save CPU resources

@OffshoreBanking updated for you with informations.

@4096 is see that you use Repro 5, do you use repro-1 Aswell ? What made you choose it over let's say Diva ?

@ArticStorm what is AAR and N4 ? I see you didn't update from Sylenth1 to something like Dune 3 of from Massive to Massive X, can you tell my why you prefer them (I'm a huge proponent of "if it aint broke don't fix") Glad to see the free DSP56300 synths in you list.

Firts it is not a Reverb but rather a dimensional expander plug-in, designed to enhance the width, depth, and overall spaciousness of mixes.
I personally use it...to tighen my MONO BASS in the stereofield really fucken cool and better than ToneProject Basslane Pro
