Definitely gets my vote for most innovative use of a duck call - ever.

Yeah man, that's how to do it! My brain wasn't able to get rid of that dumb grin of mine. And whatever I tried (and I tried hard), at least one limb was always moving to the beat. Just one question: How many ducks died during the production of this song?

Forgive me for my ignorance, but is this EDM thing to write (rather) monotonous bass lines with minimal to none movement?
Because it sounds quite repetitive to me.
This is not meant as criticism, just as an independent question.

Why do people always have to categorize music? Can't it just be judged on how you like it (or not)? Would it make any difference if it's rock, house, techtrance, metal or a porn's soundtrack? I'm sure you won't like it more, just because it would be categorized as not being EDM, will you?

LOL I like Shakespeare, I love ducks, I call bacon pig corpse and I don't eat corpses since I'm vegan, so I didn't even bother to listen.

I guess you get what you asked for. Hate and radicalism always brings more hate. :headbang:
But also, It is not 1956 any more and people are getting more civilised all the time, you know. :winker:

    Cheers!

OP marked it with EDM tag, from there I draw the conclusion. It wasn't me who put it in EDM box.
And yes, I find the bass too static as far as harmony goes, but considering I don't have experience in that genre, I asked whether that's a thing in EDM.
Categorization, when approached without prejudice, is actually very useful.

I'll try to produce music in the genres you like and understand in the future.

Actually please don't do that.
What matters most is whether you enjoy it and whether it outlines your idea and soul.
It'd be uninspiring to create something "others enjoy" and not yourself.

well, for me it's a 90's thing, trance, hardcore, terror, gabber, hardcore techno, hardstyle, and for god sake happy hardcore.

thats a shit ton of music, all with the same monotonous low frequency's. I would say it has a kind psychedelic effect on large crowds.

with the right amount of drugs that is

  16. The Bard might in this instance be at a loss for words. I often wonder what various historical figures might make out of our present, their future, how they might react, what they'd have to say.

He'd be the godfather of rap, his tight groove unrivaled, his lines of double, triple, quadruple rhymes unmatched. He'd work witch producer Diggedee Mozart, who is best known for his numerous film scores. As a result, our bard would probably never hear this song, or if, just kills it with two lines of his freestyle...
