Open a SampleModeling plugin in fl studio,
Click on the triangle top left next to the gear icon on the wrapper
and look for ( make editor thumbnail ) from the drop-down menu.

Click on it and you should now see a thumbnail of the plugin in the browser
Click on the new thumbnail and this will open a drop-down list of all midi settings,

Scroll down the list till you see the names getting grayed out
and look for MIDI CC # 11 ( Expression Controller )

Right click on it and chouse link to controller from the drop-down list
you can then move anything you want to set it to on your midi keyboard like the mod wheel ect

You should now save the plugin settings so you don't have to do this again .
To do this click on the triangle top left again chouse ,Add to plugin database or save channel state as....

Any time you reopen the plugin from either of these saved files
make sure to move the midi controller that you have set it to first, before pressing the keys
    on your midi keyboard.

    Update info ,
After loading some other Sample Modeling plugins in fl i found there was a error on the plugins window,
    ATTENTION Buffer size too Small.
If you click on the wrapper / settings / processing / and tick use fixed size buffers
then reload or restart the plugin the error is removed,

Not the first thing I would try, this setting produces extra delay.
What you should try first is setting your asio buffer at a higher setting

You can edit Midi CC #11 events right in the piano roll, by the way no need for a midi controller or anything like that. Just right click on Midi CC #11 and go to "edit events in Piano Roll" now you can change expression right in the piano roll, just like you would do with velocity.
