Pay attention to the quality of the transients. Only use good sounding synths.

both vst have their own positives. serum is (only some parameters ) better to adjust and around. would not miss both of them i think... both run stable,
ss( sist3r sit3 ) serum and vital

 

I use Pigments and Vital more than Serum these days.
There's a lot of great patches for Serum, but anytime you add a new bank, or even save a preset it wants to spend 30m rebuilding the preset database from scratch. I can't imagine a worse way to implement this.


It's the equivalent to each Arturia GUI having 1,000,000 image files because they are too dumb to use a resource container file, but at least this only happens the first time you install it.

 

You don't need to rebuild database, you can load patches from the front browser. There's no need to make it harder for yourself.
