I downloaded Xfer Serum v1.2.3 b7 two days ago.
My questions are:
1.) Do we really have to generate the 50th or 1000th serial key? Or is it only a joke?

2.) I'm still working with an very old version of Serum. Can I install v1.2.3 b7 over the existing one?

3.) Any known problems with v1.2.3b7 like preset browsing or similar?

 

I have installed on top the previous version. I have not needed to generate any serial. everything works fine. All presets go well.

 

What producer meant was, not a joke but it would make you laugh. I was actually curious enough to try it and see. Spoiler: some generated codes appear more random than others...

Now the plugin wont run and throws error code 502 or something if user.dat file is read-only.

wonder how long it will last, ill keep the older copy for a while lol and not save anything with the new version.
Obviously steve is keeping up with every release even the P2P ones.

PS there was no Serum FX included in the release, has it been discontinued?..

 

the new skin is kind of annoying imo, bit too bright and the knobs too OTT, nice colour scheme

can someone with access please post a full changelog since v1.2.1b3?

 

well if you and the other guy just installed over, what version were you using? v1.1.1b3?
if you had v1.2.1b3 and had you user.dat file as read only it probably didnt work as you said

3) Yes, problems with the preset browser. Every time I load Serum it has to build the library. This takes hours. After that I cannot scroll through the presets. Mousewheel doesn't work and there are no up and down arrows in the library. I have to move the little square by mouse.

 

Why u not install Xfer.Records.Serum.v.1.2.7.b2 ? Works good, problem wt ReScan Database solved
