Serum presets and activation?

    Had some issues with latest updates for Serum and only just managed to get it working again with v1.3.0b1 and 1.3.0b6 FX
    However....
    As soon as I add any presets and restart, it asks for a registration again?

    I deleted the folder I brought in and restarted Logic and again it asks for a new serial?

    I changed the user.dat file to read only like a few suggestions but then that resides in a folder at the same level so it shouldn't change it?

    I was really getting into this synth before it all came apart and now I'm having problems again - any ideas please?

    I'm running osx Mojave.
