    shell2vst is a tool:rofl:

  5. VST3 plugins organize themselves by categories, vendor, etc... it's something written in their code... i dont know how it works on other DAW but, as a Cubase user, i can say that tryin' to organize them it's a pain, i always give up any method...

    Hi guys!
A have a question if someone has expreciend this situation before.
I did a fresh install of Windows a couple of days ago and had a Waves boundle from 2016 before the reinstalltion. All my projects are linked to the 2016 boundle.
I’m running FL studio and really want to install the later waves boundle that includes some new plugins that I’m I intressted in and at the same time be able to load the existing chains/settings for the older projects.
My DAW is looking for Wavesshell 9.6, as far as I know the later versions of the boundle you get the Waveshsell also gets updated. Is there any chance to install the later plugins and use the shell 9.6 somehow?
I didn’t do the method “shell to vst” so the daw won’t look for any perticular VSTs when loading only for Waves Shell 9.6.
