Selling Cubase 11 Pro Licence: What do I need to do?

    Hello,

    I am going to sell my Cubase 11 Pro licence and as many of you will know, the licence itself is on a USB dongle.

    My question is this, what do I need to do in preparation for the new owner? Is it just a case of sending the USB to the new owner, or do I have to do something on my account on the steinberg site?

    How to resell Steinberg software (Resale Wizard)

    • Educational licenses are personal and must not be passed on
      or sold to any other third party or person.
    • Cubase AI, Cubase LE, WaveLab LE and Sequel LE (so called OEM versions)
      must not be sold separately from the hardware they initially came bundled with.

    Yes, once the buyer has the eLicenser you'll need to unregister it from your 'My Steinberg' account so they can register it with theirs. You can do this yourself from your account, you don't need to unregister the individual licenses just the eLicenser they're stored on.

    In your account, got to the 'My Products' page and select the 'eLicensers' tab. Click the 'Delete registration' link to unregister.
