You are talking about Kontakt, right? not sampled Loops.

    These are both Kontakt instruments

Sonokinetic's OUD sounds promising - They do quality stuff

    https://www.sonokinetic.net/products/instruments/oud/

That one's for sale for like $50 for 4 more days

    no pressure

    and theres

    8Dio Santur

    8dio_santur_poster.jpg

I dont know why they call it Mediterranean- the santur is Indian

Back in the Day - i was into Indian strings like sitar or sarangi - impossible to find I started lacing my music with a Santur (or what sounded exactly like a Santur)

it was a preset for Steampipe in Reaktor called "Banjo"

    :disco:

Can't go wrong with Ethnaudio's Strings of Anatolia or Ethnoworld. NI's Discovery Series also provides good patches, but the articulations can sound a bit more robotic if you don't use the modwheel

Best thing I found so far is NI Discovery Series Middle East
I recall an older library add some nice sweeps but it wasn't very flexible but perhaps blended with a regular string library would work

The ones I would have mentioned have already been mentioned.
But there was also ADP Aviram Arabic Strings, and Findasound Oriental Strings.
Ultimate Pro Oriental Strings and Aviram are clunky libraries, and NI Discovery stuff, whilst well coded and very useable, sometimes seem to lack a certain character for me.
The most impressive library recently for me was Ethnaudio Strings Of Anatolia.
I suggest checking that one out first over all others really.
    Cheers.

    Yes I totally agree!
I'm trying to find Ethnaudio Strings Of Anatolia but not luck so far.

The older library I was referring to is Sultan Strings by Sonokinetic. The phrases are great and perfect if you're going for straight on ethnic track but difficult to integrate in a track with other western instruments or as in my case I'm adding that flavor to a written song.
    thanks!

aW NO, MAN - He was just asking where to get it - legit.

cause its not a Big company that you can find. The guy who made that video made the Library himself

and he's selling it privately- he left his contact information underneath the video on the youtube page

its not even warez. it has to be Big enough for a BIG company and then... it becomes warez

This guys still stuck in his mom's basement with his sarangi and Kontakt
