    Hi,
I've written a song about absences- it's a love song of sorts but the kind of song that could be sung from one friend to another, from a child to their parent or vice versa or between lovers. I've got a simple guitar sample with a few other samples sprinkled here and there. Could do with some tasteful piano. Looking for the feel of Floyd's "Pigs on the Wing" and Wait's "Innocent When You Dream". Maybe there's a singer or pianist who's up for a coollaboration. If anyone's interested, gimme a buzz. Keep the flags flying.

The two songs you mentioned as references have polar opposite singing characteristics haha. Smooth and clean for "Pigs on the Wing" and gritty and warbled for "Innocent when you dream". Although maybe you're referring to the overall songwriting of the two tracks, which isn't too dissimilar.

Im always up for a challenge. I used to sing quite a bit and now I play piano, but don't trust myself for improvisation or recording on piano yet. Also should mention I can't write lyrics for the life of me but I'd love to sing someone else's.

The song has me interested. My singing is definitely more towards the cleaner Pink Floyd end. That's also more in my range. I'd be curious to hear the track to know if I could help.

God, I'm so sorry to be shamefully late in replying. I fell off the Audiosex wagon and laser focused on a few ventures for quite a while. Are you still interested? You're right about the musical differences but the longing and poignancy in both echo in my song. Would be chuffed if you're still around
