So actually when You decide to donate 1$, You will be charged for 1.21$, but person who You'd like to support receive only 5c! That insane!

 

Fascinating ... not even a fee related to transaction but fixed.

Fee - $0.61
Partner Fee - $1.12

Total Net - $0.69

I made $0.69 off of a $2 sale.

I paid 65.5% percent of my total sale in fees

I earned 34.5% of the total amount they paid

I cant get my money out of Gumroad until I hit $10. I've been stuck at $8.98 cents for the last 2 months lmao.

And don't forgot that when Musk sold X.com (which eventually became PayPal), the buyers said the code was basically so bad and broken that they had to rewrite it.

Musk also bought his title as a Founder of Tesla after booting one of the OG founders.

It was financially hard for him as a kid. His dad's partial ownership of an emerald mine (that used slave labor) made too much money for them to fit in their family safe! Poor guys probably had to buy a second safe for the extra cash.

 

I've openly said I'm cool with people posting my Gumroad products on the sister site, but I'm not important enough for anyone to do that yet lmao.

Scary part is, I would make more money if my products were posted on the sister site thanks to pure exposure and generosity of try it, buy it model.

I'd never used Nitroflare with a login before, but I made one recently just to check something; and I thought it was somewhat funny to see they mention sharing "your own music" as a way to make money from downloads. Which I have never seen it used for, but probably neither have they. Just exercise some restraint diving into the deep end of such pools of riches; there is only room in the world for 1 Olly James and his signature sounds.

 

That's interesting that they would market their services as a way to make money off of people downloading your music. I don't hate the idea, but I can't imagine the payout would be good without hundreds of thousands of downloads. Idk, maybe still better than what Spotify pays artists haha.
