Secret sauce for that sweet full 80's synthwave etc. synth sound

    Just found it.

    TAL's Chorus-LX. Gone through various different chorus effects (Image-line's options, Echoboy's chorus models, Line 6s chorus pedal emulations etc.

    This one absolutely blows them out of water and sounds fucking amazing with any synth you put through it.

    It also happens to be free.

    It's basically the same effect but with depth, width and wet controls. I was getting frustrated because I really loved the U NO LX's unique sound with the chorus on (well it has kinda unique sound anyway) but the synth itself is a little limited to my taste (like the original Juno 60 is). Went through all my choruses and more trying to get that same sound until I realized TAL actually had a separate unit for that.

    I like the TAL chorus, but find it sounds little like the chorus on my Juno60.

    Are TAL a trustworthy company? Since reading that Tone2 bundled spyware / calls home with the free Firebird I'm even cautious of installing freeware.
