    Well, wouldn't it depend on the 2nd hand price? I'm sure they all perform like they are supposed to, so it would depend on the best deal. LA is known for their compression and pre-amps. For performance per dollar, I am fond of the dbx brand compressors. My studio experiences with LA and Aphex's other products has always been positive. Have no experience with Symetrix.
