hello cubase 5 does not recognize me as a scaler .... you can help me? thank you

 

I installed the scaler plugins with the dll in the appropriate folders .... but cubase can not find it

 

What is your os ? The scaler you installed is 64 bit or 32bit ?
Try to rescan the folders manually

 

you probably know but I'll write it anyway, scaler is not a plugin but a "vst", try to look it up among the vsts
the proper folder(for x86 version) should be program files/common files/steinberg/vst2

my operating system is windows 7 64x There is also the 86x folder .... I inserted the dll of both ... but despite going on the "plugins information" I do the refresh ..... and also I go to manually search the path ... I can not then to display it in the cubase plugs

 

Did you install the x86 version of scaler? In Cubase you have to point out the folder where this plugin in is. You can also try re-installing it.

 

:D Mountain backpack crampons etcs. I just tried it w/ C5, and it defo does work!

Assuming it's in the right place (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugins\ on x64 win), just choose default VST plugin location, maybe reinstall. Maybe try bridging the 64 bit version? I just checked and it's VST3, so should work automatically if C5 can find the vst2. If you know a little XML, try editing the vst blacklist. Or delete it.
