I have always considered the Model D a interesting synth for its price, but a bit limited in performance: I tried it but it didn't convince me too much, instead of the PolyD that seems more complete.
Ok: Behringer's video is too superficial to understand how PolyD works, anyhow I won't deny that I'd like to get my hands on it.

Well now that my GAS has run it's course I realize I don't actually need this. I just want it. So I'll pass on it and wait for a true poly. I'm not interested in the Deep Mind, perhaps the UB-Xa?

I'm still waiting on the Pro-1 to hit the states, that I'm getting for sure, and I already have the Model D so those bases are covered.

Personally I'd like to see them get into some digital territory too. Like a Ensoniq ESQ-1/80 clone would be cool. Another one would be a Yamaha SY77/99 clone. You can still buy these used but they're so old and all my old stuff is slowly but surely breaking down as it is, a couple of them dead. Upkeep is a bitch and of course the money, lots of money I'd rather spend on something in new condition.

I'd also like to see some more originals beyond the desktop format.

    Waiting sucks. :guru:
