Save Kontakt Library Activations!

    so it's in your sample folder?? it should be in the same location as your midi,docu.,samples,instruments folders are.

    no, its in the root folder, as extracted from the download... Its in the correct place.

    I installed it on my Bro-inlaws PC today, and aswell, it is listed 2X in Kontakt 5.

    better as listed zero times ;)
    ok and with kontakt 5 i'm able to save a few kontakt nki/nkm.
    but 1 is not able to save - its the whole RA LIB. all nki's are set to protected - i was able to save only 1 preset :(
    any idea to break the protection?!
    *Edit* Indeed version 5.0.1 makes problems - i added them now on that and it shows nothing up :(

    i added a few libs: Scarbee Jay-Bass, Access Virus TI, VSL Opus I - after the regkey manual - but its not working :S
    they are not showed up?!
    kontakt 5.0.1 ASSIGN!

    So I am a PC user and I know the work around through the registry to have 3rd party libraries show up at the side in Kontakt 4 or 5.
    However, I realize that nothing has worked to do the same on OS X. I have a friend and he has been trying for a while and he simply forgets that he has libraries because they are not at the side. Can anyone help in this area? your help will greatly be appreciated.

    1. go to Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences
    2. locate one .plist file for example com.native-instruments.Symphobia.plist and copy and paste it
    3. rename it to your desired library name e.g com.native-instruments.Tonehammer Waterphone.plist
    4. open it with Plist Pro and edit it by deleting all its entries except : a. ContentDir and b. Visibility (which needs to be set to 3)
    5. now open com.native-instruments.Content.plist
    6. create a new sibling and name is something like k2libxxxx (where xxxx use any 4 digit numbers, NOT the same as any other existing entries in the file.. So for example k2lib0001 and name it Tonehammer Waterphone
    7. Point your library's location under ContentDir in the com.native-instruments.Tonehammer Waterphone.plist
    8. Open Kontakt

    Hi all,

    mac user with Kontakt 5.0.1 Team VR release. I had Komplete 6 installed and now want to add the Kontakt 4 Library in Kontakt 5. But whenever I say "Add Library" nothing happens when I select the "Kontakt 4 Library". FYI, I was able to add West Africa, though, without issues. Any suggestions are appreciated.
