    Better build, less heat.

    But never forget that the most important part for a DAW is the motherboard.

    im running an intel i5 3750k ivy bridge (at 4.5 ghz after turbo boost )and 16 gig of ram and not had or having a single bit of trouble.
    im running the net aswell (wireless connection im typing on it now lol.) loads of vstis with around 6 plugins on each synth on a asus p8z77 motherboard.

    i just made a custom notebook for my needs from Santech ...Ivy Bridge i7 Q3820 @ 2.7 Ghz up to 3.7 in Turbo Mode, 32 GB Ram, AMD Radeon HD 7970M Grapghic Card @ 1920x1080 max rez, 2 x 750 HDD one with 32 of buffer and one with 16 ...i still have to test it yet as i did not find the time for ...all this with the ugly price of 2500 euros :wow: ...im mad ...
