Discussion

1. Will it be a hit or just another plugin with fancy GUI for the IRs they've released for free long ago ?
2. Do we really need another "the best M7 emulation" after the Seventh Heaven that still using IR capture of the unit ?
3. Why don't anyone do something like the Relab 480XL remake, rewrite the code from ground up and get official license from the Bricasti ? Although it's a long shot that Bricasti would approve it since it will affect the sales of the hardware.
4. Do Bricasti really need to stick to the hardware ? I mean, come on, it's a digital reverb, they have the source code and they could simply build the plugin themselves, why would they still want people to pay for the metal case and more electricity ? Not to mention all those unnecessary component inside that's basically another computer.
5. Or reverb plugins are shite and the DSP hardware of the reverb sounds best because of some unexplainable quantum entanglement between reverb particle generated inside that pricy box that is not possible to be done in plugin form.

Other Samplicity News

1. Also will release the Gemini 480 which is an emulation of a Lexicon 480XL.
2. Already released as Pre-order a new reverb plugin called Berlin Studio - a reverb capture of a famous studio in Berlin, not sure which one, but I assume it's the Hansa Studio because they said "where for decades classical albums were recorded" I think Bowie and Depeche Mode records considered as classics.

Yes, majority of the audio community agrees with that. Anway, Liquidsonics Reverberate, Slate Digital Verbsuite Classics also use the same Fusion IRs and has Bricasti M7 presets and give or take, sounds the same.
