SampleScience releases Analog Waveforms v2 free virtual instrument - Mar 9, 2023

SampleScience has announced an update to its Analog Waveforms rompler instrument featuring the sounds of the Mopho monophonic analog synthesizer from Dave Smith Instruments/Sequential.

Version 2 comes with a brand new user interface, 4 new effects including distortion, delay, chorus, and reverb, as well as improved sound and amplitude ADSR.

Analog Waveforms is a plugin featuring the basic waveforms of an analog synthesizer. Each waveform has been sampled note by note across 7 octaves (each sample being 10 seconds in length), which gives an accurate and genuine sonic representation of an analog synthesizer. The synthesizer in question is the Mopho by DSi.

    Analog Waveforms v2 features
    • 4 multi-sampled analog synthesizer waveforms: sawtooth, triangle, saw-triangle, pulse-width at 40%.
    • 4 new effects.
    • 355 MB of samples (16-bit, 44.1kHz mono Wav files).
    • Multi-LFO.
    • Highpass/Lowpass filter.
    • Amplitude range controls.
    • 3 voice modes: polyphonic, monophonic, and legato.
The plugin is free to download in VST/VST3 and AU plugin formats.
