Samples Modeling Instruments: Up and running without a Pedal or Keyboard

    The following information might help you if you use a laptop on the go. I have seen requests for this information.

    Loose Quote: To get up and running is quick and easy for Samples Modeling instruments like The Trumpet, for instance.
    The instrument requires CC#11 to be seen before it will let you play. This controls your dynamics, or breath level. The instrument actually has to see the controller being sent through, not just something mapped to it.

    If you don't have a keyboard or expression pedal handy, you need to create an event in your sequencer and hit play so your instrument detects CC#11 being sent. The CC can be remapped to whatever CC# you want, however, right inside the interface.
