I have a quickload library tht assumes the location of the samples is somehwere else. Its too large to manually move each individual folder. Any way to point it to this directory???

 

yes, remove library, then add library, go to folder location click "add"

 

How would this work with quickload?

 

Right-click the library in the quickload view in Kontakt and click Delete from quickload.
Now open the folder in windows 7 and drag it into quickload
Done

If it can't find the samples a simple batch-resave will fix your missing sample issues

 

I'm presuming you have added your instrument file or multi file from the libraries tab? and your library location is not set to the correct path

 

the only way to update QL is to add the moved folder. it doesn't overwrite so if you are adding a root folder to a parent section of QL it won't do anything. in that case you will need to delete the folder from QL fist, then add the folder.

the good thing is you can add an entire directory structure, so you could get your folder how you want and add it all at one time. for alot of instruments it will take some tho.

 

I now have this under a library tab. Can someone tell me in simple term (i know, i know) how to do this? its tonehammer requiem and it doesn't understand where the samples are

Also the Gui for this library is a little screwy??

 

make sure you have selected the correct path for the requiem folder and NOT the folder which has the requiem folder inside it

I only have the light version, and the gui looks fine, so probably the script for the gui has some errors in it
