Hello guys.

One week ago downloaded the Soprano and Bass Clarinets from Sample Modeling.
The R2R info with the proper offline activation with the SWAM_Engine_KeyGen worked absolutely fine.
Every day i used the VST it worked like charm.

Until today when its asking about "online license key". So the vst "knows" i got internet connection.

I go offline, and when i opened again, he appears like usual but saying "Product not authorized".

What to do?

I reinstall it several times, and its the same.

Something is saved in my PC about the R2R SWAM_keygen.

I don't know what's the problem..

 

I'm not on Windows-PC but i suppose you was online when the thingy called home.
So you now probably have a file installed (via Internet) that blocks it.
Try to look/scan for that file, maybe a preference file?…
Or maybe re-authorize with the keygen.

I had this problem a while ago. What I did was block the DAW/Notation Program from connecting to the internet and that seems to have solved the issue for me.

 

I also have this issue. I use Logic Pro on OSX i also blocked the DAW from the Internet but they go back to "Product not authorized"

A user wrote this and i found it on the internet, maybe on this forum i don't know anymore. I don't have tried it so i can't say if it works or not, maybe just give a try.

--------- SOLUTIONS FOR MAC ACTIVATE ----------

1- Open Terminal.app
--> type sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
--> type your password
Now type in the last line: 127.0.0.1 www.swamengine.com
Press Control + O to Write (save) and Enter
Control + X to Exit

2- Download app EasyFind
--> Search for: SWAM
--> Delete all folders SWAM ( In my had only two folders )

3- Make a clean install following the steps of R2R.txt - READ R2R.TXT (INTERNET OFFLINE)

4- Enjoy

After these steps I was able to use even with internet connected
I want to thank grdh20xgman and EtheralVoice for the tips. Without these tips would have failed.

fixed this problem: You have to block www.swamengine.com through "hosts" file located in Windows\System32\drivers\etc by adding line that looks like this
127.0.0.1 www.swamengine.com

 

Hi.
Here's how I've solved this problem. Go to your hosts file
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.
Open hosts file with notepad. At the end of whatever is written in your hosts files. Add a space and then write or paste the following.

127.0.0.1 www.swamengine.com

that should do it.

Another thing I also do is make a backup of the license files. these are located here: C:\Users\your user name folder\AppData\Roaming\SWAM. After installing the plugins, copy them to a backup folder. If things get messed up as in the online situation you mentioned, you only need to overwrite them from your backup folder. Do this and then add the
127.0.0.1 www.swamengine.com, previously mentioned and hopefully you should be good. This has worked with both my windows 7 and 8 64bit systems.

 

Thanks all! As i said, something is saved in my PC about SWAM, so, deleting it must i do First i've tried the version with "EasyFind", which equals with "Everything" - easyfind is for mac and Everything for PC. I deleted all files from my Windows folder containing SWAM and when i open the vst , he ask me about online or offline activation. This is what i wanted to see-to choose the offline way. And it worked! Yes,it will happen again, but now i know what to delete. And ,to be honest i didn't bother to try different ways, because this was my first option from the beginning. Anyway, thanks for all!!

Hi all thanks for the help, my problem was solved by two easy steps
1. Uninstall the swam.
2. Search for every swam folder and delete all its contents.
3. Reinstall swam and enjoy.
