I'm on a Mac - Using Kontakt 5.4.2

I have an issue with all the Sample Modeling stuff that is haunting me, especially since it's the best damn brass out there.

The problem is that, whenever I add the library it disappears after restarting kontakt and whenever I try to use an instrument via quick load or any other way it says the 'patch is encrypted'. It works when I add it, but it just always disappears so that's no use.
Now I tried literally EVERYTHING (I think) to fix this. I tried making it an .nicnt library but it just says encrypted. I tried older version of kontakt, i tried going into .plist files and i tried deleting all the .plist files and .xml and then re-adding but all to no avail.

Now there don't seem to be a lot of people with the same problem so i'm wondering: Does it work for you guys? If yes, HOW? Did it work straight away? What did you do and what do you use?

Remove and add the lib again, also clean prefereces files....
You should say all the steps you done

But I did all of that a thousand times. Reinstalled kontakt a couple of times, tried different version. I don't ask on forums a lot because I mostly get everything done but this time it is making me go crazy.

 

But you cleaned preferencies files in library/preferences and kontakt (both also user)?
Sometimes Mac os do not permit that preferences files update, só it creates provisory clone files. In this caseyou need to reset preferences to work properly.
Also old kontakt products store files in native kontakt 4 and bellow directories that must be copied to kontakt 5.
Its a permission problem, só do you know whre are all the files and know how to reset permission?
Sample modeling must work with all versions of kontakt, the only problem is with kontakt 2 products
