I seem to have trouble adding loops in Maschine and then editing them, does anyone know of a really, really good tutorial for this, I use Maschine Mikro, with all the uptodate software and just cant get it right.

So can you share anything useful in terms of the solution? Otherwise this thread has no real content or use.

I watched a few videos about it. The one from Sanjay is well done. But after watching them, I'm not sure how helpful they will be towards getting looping done easily. If ready-made loops are used, you can see it might be a fun pads controller. But I'm not sure it would stop me from using my regular wave editor to precisely trim manually created samples; or another loop-centric editor like Serato Sample, etc. This is more about the device itself, not the quality of the tutorial videos. This guy Sanjay has done videos for some of the paid content websites like Groove3 and ASK.

It just shows how stupid, we, meaning me, can be. I followed all the Tube videos and nothing would work. Yesterday I finally looked up the manual and found to my horror, that when you drag and drop a loop into machine, it automatically time stretches it to the BPM. Lol I was converting the audio import to sample editor and getting nowhere trying to match it the BPM.

oh. it's helpful if you can turn it on/off, like you can in most DAWs. If you microscope in to the start and end points of many "paid" sample loops; you can often see where there is a tiny sliver of silence before the waveform and after it. it can result in little clicks, like not cutting at zero axis; but it can also cause automatic bpm "warping" to calculate the bpm incorrectly. You end up with a loop that sounds fine by itself, but you can notice drift when you layer it with something else.
