Just saw on tiktok a short clip with Rick Beato presenting this track. Cannot figure out if there was any human touch or everything was done text-to-music... is it even possible at this level? The compression and radio-rip quality is one thing, but entire arrangement, mix, voice hitting at the right time... Do you think it is fully done by AI ? I tried few tools and results wary from very bad to decent but never ever could imagine this could be effect of just typing text.

On one video its visible part of interface thats similar to Udio. Maybe part of it (or even entire) was done there.

 

Yes, it's all AI via ChatGPT and Suno. Here's the CBS interview where Rick "creates" the song.

Rick asks chatgpt to create a photo of the artist, then write all the lyrics which he then pastes into Suno and the song is generated.

I mean, i'm not big into the AI thing, but wasn't he talking about anoter AI band some weeks ago? Qualitywise it sounded a lot like this so i think it's pretty possible that he found the way to do it himself, at least we know it's been done before.

But is it fully AI? Well if you don't count the guy behind the prompts who also acts as a "filter" of sorts, then sure, i can totally see it being the case. This song feels pretty algorithmic anyway, just follow this and that instructions, nothing crazy.

 

oh guys, my music sounds so bad when I compare with these A.i thing
the only reason I keep going is because when I will release my tracks it'll be obvious that it was made by a human, what I think is good.
But, I dont know, maybe tomorrow, to young ears (like my daughters), the only good music it will be A.i music

 

Last year I gave Suno a try.
I liked the outputs, but I discover that what I really like it's the process.
I know you can compose and use A.i as a "support", but I feel so dirty, like I would have blood on my hands, hehehe
