S1 v5.1.0 Invalid Lic File/Key Issues Within S1 New Plugins

    I finally got around of trying this new v of S1 v5.1.0

    I got v S1 v5.1.0 Activated...But!!!

    Hey Gents.. I've done this many of times on New Versions to activate S1 but this v S1 v5.1.0 I cant seem to Activate these new Plugins.. I've done this many of times but this time Im Stump.. Could it be that R2R Keygen are not generated valid lic Keys?

    Every time I will either Drag and Drop R2R Key/File into S1 GUI or Select Lic File
    The bottom line ----> Invalid License File!

    I know some of you will give step by step but I have and your probably will be the same as R2R Notepad Instruction and will be the same as I went through..

    Don't know if some of you are having this same issues that I am
    ,

    So...Please, Give me some of your Tricks up your Sleeve to get this new Plugs

    Firewall Turned Off and no Virus Programs Installed into my Computer

    You may have to delete all the license files and activate everything in one go.

    I seem to recall there was an issue if you were adding a new plugin to an already activated setup. I'm sure you had to delete the licenses and reactivate everything in one go before the new plugins would work

    Thx For Replying so fast, But where do I delete all the license files to activate everything in one go..
    Are you talking about S1 Active license files?

    Found this on a text file in a previous R2R S1 release. Hope it's ok to post here: -

    "If you need complete cleaning of PreSonus installation,
    uninstall all and remove
    "%PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\"
    "%APPDATA%\PreSonus\"

    If you just need to remove licenses, delete *.license files in above directories.


    0.Uninstall previous version.
    1.Install StudioOne.
    2.Run StudioOne.
    Close login window and start offline authorization.
    3.Run our keygen on Windows.
    Copy MachineID to the keygen.
    4.Generate licenses.
    5.Authorize StudioOne by using "studioapp*.pro.license".
    If you want to authorize StudioOne5, "studioapp5.pro.license" is your choice.
    Authorize Extensions by using other licenses.
    If you want to authorize PreSonusHub, copy "presonushub.license" to
    "%PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\PreSonus Hub\"
    6.Enjoy!

    Tips:
    Generated licenses are linked to the license of main application.
    If you want to activate additional contents, you need to generate & reauthorize all.

    You can reauthorize from the StudioOne menu items.
    Tips:
    You can authorize extensions by drag & drop multiple *.license files to StudioOne GUI.
    Or just copy all extension license files to "%PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\License Store\".

    Thx but I did all that..Could try again for the 5th time..LOL..The the funny thing is that I looked for the PreSonus\License Store in PROGRAMDATA folder but the PreSonus\License Store is not there..I would love to copy all extension license files to "%PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\License Store\ but its not there...

    Ha. I seem to recall when I had the issue a while back it took multiple attempts to sort it out.

    I've got that License Store folder in my installation. Just searching around my C drive and also have .license files at "C:\Program Files\PreSonus\Studio One 5\license". Could try removing the .license files from that folder as well as any in any programdata or appdata subfolders?

    Okay I see it in Files\PreSonus\Studio One 5\license.. the Lic folder and when I open it says third Party Lic's.
    Should I delete the Lic Folder?

    I would just remove all the .license files inside of each of the 3 folders, but leave the folder structures intact

    Hey halfman73..(See ATTACH] These file extension.. Are they need to be Installed first..? Are this separate from the S1 Installation?
    (There are a shit load with this new version)

    Because Im still getting the dreaded Invalid License File!

    Yes. Going from memory, I think my working process was along these lines: -

    1. I closed S1.
    2. Deleted all license files in the 3 folders.
    3. Opened up S1. Generated new license files into a folder I'd made on my desktop using the keygen.
    4. Dragged all the license files in the desktop folder onto S1 and S1 authorised them and placed the licenses in the right location...I think.

    If that doesn't work, maybe try adding a step in before number 4 (but hopefully you won't need to): -
    Activate S1 on it's own using "studioapp5.pro.license", then move onto dragging all the license files in the desktop folder

    Still invalid.. I see that to Activate CTC-1 Pro Console Shaper...I believe these are 3rd Party Presonus Plugs that need to be installed but there is no Demo..I think thats why the invalid.. More here ----

    What do you think? and have you install this new ver of S1?

    Yeah I have those too. I had the first version 5 by R2R and also Presonus Hub R2R (from the sister site). I'm pretty sure those extras you mention were installed via the hub.

    I'd just be guessing what to try next though.

    Looking at Presonus Hub on the sister site there are comments saying "create a folder called Presonus Hub in C:\ProgramData\PreSonus\and drag the key licence in it and it works!" The license being "presonushub.license" as I've just checked my installation and I have that. But I don't think that would come up invalid.

    So.....If you close S1, delete all the license files. Then reopen S1, will it let you authorise just Studio One? (Studio One menu, Activation, activate offline)?

    So you have this new Version and everything is working for you?

    Yeah, my version is 5.1.0 and I've been using it for over a month without issue. It's the latest R2R one.

    I installed it on top of the R2R one from August. v5.0.1. I think I never bothered updating to the 5.0.2 version.

    I have Presonus Hub 1.1.0 still installed from the August release as well.
