i made a scratchpad and try to drag an arranger part in the timeline to another place, it results in a total mess of all the rest of the song and changed tempo in the darn tempo timeline. ive seen a lot of different references to similar problems but no answers from presonus only users speculating, since 2018 (!!).

anyone else having this problem?

 

dumb question : -you have bounced (Strg+b) the part before copy/moving it ?

edit: Ahh ..just tryed ,now I get U . Yes u are right , when u actually move o n ly the Arrangerpart
( with n o adjecant audiopart) -it will overwrite the tempo.
Dont know if it´s meant to be so .

Hi B, thanks for your input, i dont know about that command, maybe i happened to press that, ill check it out later.

its weird, because if i made a new project and made a scratchpad and moved an arranger-part horizontally, it doesnt replicate the "bug". maybe its something hanging from older versions.

its also interesting that, if i delete the tempo-change/point the "bug" created by itself when i dragged an arrangement part, then it lets me drag a part without causing problems, but only once.
if i do it once again the p.o.s creates yet another tempo change to 84 bpm. weird and freaking annoying.

but, i found a workaround.
i can copy and paste the arranger parts in place! that works. its only when dragging horizontally it creates a new tempo and screws all the tracks.
