Question about the new update. There is an option in the arrange view for "Locate when clicked in empty space" . In 3.1 this would start playback immediately wherever clicked (when playing). Now it just inserts a yellow line and you have to stop and start playback again to playback from that spot. Also, the return to start on stop function is affected as well. Now if I click anywhere during playback, and stop - it now starts from the new spot instead of where I originally started playback. These seem like weird bugs. I noticed the new transport options and I DO NOT have the new playback marker on - so why does it seem like anywhere I click creates a new playback spot? Anyone else notice or reproduce this?

One last thing I noticed is "Split at Cursor" function no longer works. You now need to double click on the upper area to split at the cursor. Even with a shortcut key it won't split. Very weird.

----btw I LOVE that I can finally MOVE fx to another bin without them copying...great fix there! Still looking for Bypass All FX button or Mixer Undo perhaps. ..

Anyone else having the issue with Split at cursor? How is this done now? I know you can double click a range to split but when i do this at a point its not precise. I used to tab to a transient and split it right at the cursor. I have no idea how to split right where the cursor is. Anyone? Thanks so much

Just use regular split. Press tab to tab to transient, then just use "Split" command, not split at cursor. It will automatically split at cursor now if you pick Split and you just tabbed to a transient. You can see it uses split at cursor from regular split if you go look at the Undo History after you click Split. It'll show "Split At Cursor".

I don't personally use this method, so I'm not sure how it worked before, but I just tried it this way and it seems to do what you're wanting

If you you run off the new smart arrow feature, you get back the old behaviour. Some features are
turned on & off in the S1 options.

Check out the videos and take the time to read the manual at some point while getting to know 3.2

Ok my problem was my shortcut was set to "split at cursor" . So I kept trying to set new keys for that same command. Not "split" Thanks so much!

Solved - Options > Advanced > Console > Colorize channel strips > Check
