RunBeerRun is a very cool place as the dude makes tons of well named "things" such as "Usulator-experimental FM synth" (for weird use only)or "Screaming Synapse-experimental synth jumping compressor". There are tons of this stuff to make your music sound like your puke hitting the sidewalk after eating questionable Chinese food towards the end of an all-nighter (wow, how expressive I am!). I just wish people would come out and say what they REALLY mean instead of all this tip toeing around the issue!

 

Well, New Model No. 15 has something going on there... I usually skip all SynthEdit and SynthMaker creations unless it's something really unique or custom programmed, and because there are loads of free or cheap and quality VST plugins anyway. No reason to have 1000 instead of 400 or even 100 of chosen VST plugins in the folder. SE and SM brings mess in your creative process and I don't like mess. Having said that, there are some either SM or SE plugins worth the download, but these are certainly not the ones.

 

There is only one synthedit worth being installed, and that's reaktor.
Every other programm of that kind is just a load of crap.
