Some day ago, I get info, that Eventide is responsible for “big wave”, and here the story:

everyone know, Eventide has bug when you buy 1 plug and get all bundle. This continues around 2-4 days. After that, they fixed. At the next day, they upload to their website, newfangled installer, WITHOUT PROTECTION. After 1 day, it was replaced with protected.

And after that R2R big wave out.

I’m not trying to start stupid conspiracy theory, just share with you this fact.

 

That's nothing new. R2R even stated it NFO it was a mistake made by the developers:

 

I think there are probably more entry points in the software that would need to be exploited, BUT, I really hope it is true because purely for comedy value, that would be brilliant. Imagine the poor guy that uploaded the wrong thing having to walk in to tell the boss

I would love it if Cubase finally got cracked properly (I have legit versions btw...) and Strindberg came out and said “oh, if you went to line 243835 and changed a value to “devmode” it works without a dongle. Just to have that for shits and giggles and nothing else would be hilarious.

 

they only upload a windows unprotected version ! shit :p
