I installed the lates plugin alliance complete 2015 and all the vst ones have their presets but the RTAS does not..

I remember this being a problem before and some kind soul sent me the presets i think.. does anyone know where to get them?

I dont need a lecture about using presets I dont i use them as starting point or sometimes I do use the amp presets etc and that had some nice ones i liked..

Is there a way to grab the presets from the trial installers?

I downloaded them but there just installation files.. How can I access the contents of the file?

 

Just install the demo and copy the rtas preset folder to your desktop and then delete the demo and install the R2R release and past the preset folder back and you will have no problem.

It exists a Program named 'Universal Extractor' which was created for that purpose : extracting the Contents of an '.exe' ('Installer', 'Setup',... ) under Windows.
The only drawback is that it not always allow you to extract the 'Full Content' of an '.exe', mainly due to how was 'compiled' (or 'packed') that particular '.exe'.
Nevertheless, you can try to use it for the 'Plugin Alliance' Installer, you never know...

 

Ill give that a shot the only problem is u gotta do every plugin separate lol.. smh.

Tried this tonight and oddly enough no presets for the RTAS plugins.. So strange considering the VST versions have theirs.. Any other ideas guys?

 

i think the presets just come inside the vst.dll
that dont sound right for some reason
i cant find a preset folder any-were,
so you can try save a few presets using the vst and your daw
but the only way you can load them back in the RTAS is through your daw
as there is no load or save preset setting on the plugins as far as i can tell,

 

There is but the factory presets are just not in the RTAS version.
